Today I look at two bills that we all need to keep an eye on- one had to do with the Repubs using immigration as a hot button election issue ad the other is Bush's refusal to compromise. Despite the fact that the Senate Armed Services Committee's key Republican's defied him today Bush insists the they must pass HIS "terror" bill.Bush's measure would go further than the Senate package in allowing classified evidence to be withheld from defendants in terror trials, using coerced testimony and protecting U.S. interrogators against legal prosecution for using methods that violate the Geneva Conventions. Meanwhile Saddam Hussein's judge stated in open court that he really wasn't a dictator. I compared Bush to Hussein and am asking you all today: Who really is the dicatator that poses a global threat and just who should be on trial for crimes against humanity, war crimes and treason against the United States?Saddam Hussein or George W. Bush and his administration? you decide- your input and comments are requested and appreciated!
