Using Truth

Do you always, always speak the truth to everyone? If you answered 'yes,' would I have to tell you that you're naive, going to get hurt or hurt someones' feelings? An example of this was a 11-year old that told an extremely over weight person of the same age, that "if you jump into the swimming pool, watch out; all the water is going to splash out." That truth wasn't necessary to comment on and the hurt feelings of the fat one was going to be settled with fists after school hurting both of the students and their families. Luckily for everyone, the principal of the school step in, stopped the pending fight, no suspensions, no harm.
We all don't think like 11-year old anymore and through life we usually learn to use truth, lies and diplomacy. Then, how would we categorize diplomacy? Is it lying or just cleverly saying the truth with a large smile on your face? Di Cavour, an Italian political leader, said "I have discovered the art of deceiving diplomats. I speak the truth, and they never believe me."

It would be refreshing to hear truth from our leaders or would it?
Do we need to inject them with a serum, because once they get in the political system they are already trained liars with corrupt goals?
Not a leader really leads for us and not with us either.
The politicians lead for themselves, their interests and the interests of the elite capitalistic greedy few.
Truth might be so shocking that we wouldn't want to believe the scientific world for example; but so what? We can take the truth as an adult. As a child weren't we able to comprehend grandpa died or Santa Claus was a big made-up story? So is not the inquisitiveness and ability to analyze of an adult greater, than that of a child?
I mean, what if in 1955, people were told point blank the certain truth about nonrenewable energy, CO2 emissions and global warming? And don't bother having children, they're never going to have a complete and normal life. If cancer doesn't strike them down at an early age, diabetes from depleted uranium exposure surly will get them. What if they were told the truth known about an asteroid coming to hit earth in 2029? Could their post-WWII minds keep them from being selfish and working for earths' good instead of their family's new Ford automobile? (Those truths we know, are sadly not even believed by all the peoples of the United States of America currently!)

If people in general want peace, a job, a clean environment or a good life, I believe they have to work for it.
People in the USA need to take a stand and use their brains.
If the government in power is not with us and we did not put them there with our vote; then, they need to be relieved of their jobs, removed from office. The honest truth, fellow citizens.
