COOL! We could set these up on column pages at P&M too, but would the longer load time be worth the feature? What do you think?

I don't believe I would appreciate a longer download...it's lengthy for me as it is. I can see Solis because I have aim.com, the IM from aol...it has all my P&M buddies on it because they now will do the same; putting all IMing together in one. Don't you see? It's software to track us better and see what we are writing about!!!

To nathan- remember some folks are still stuck with dial up...like me until I get a devent tower that can handle high speed. The load ttime takes forever on the PM site and now a java script starts for something on the page which totally slows down the whole thing.
I will check out your thing Daniel
as for the PM pages I dont think there should be too much to distract from the main point of the page- the piece that is written
I would keep it as simple as possible on that page- avoid java and other things that are hard to load...just my opinion as a user that is still stuck in dial up hell

Philip, wonderful to hear that feedback. In fact, yesterday I replaced all of the Java aps with .gifs Solis and/or Powers will eventually be making higher quality .gifs to replace the ones I've put up for now. The .gif banners work just about exactly the same as the Java ap that phases through the text. Except the .gif banners are only about 25kb, compared to the HUGE java aps. I hope this helps. Remember that sometimes browsers keep an older version of the pages you visit, so if you are still seeing the Java Ap, click 'stop' on your browser, and then 'refresh' the page for the latest version Thanks again for the feedback Philip, please let us know if the pages load any faster for you now -Nathan
