[glow=red,2,300]xenophobia- Fear and contempt of strangers or foreign peoples[/glow] One of the keys to the sucess of the Bush Crime Family has been tapping into the xenophobia that seems to have plaqued many after September 11, 2001. Late last night I posted a breaking news story with information about a possible "October Surprise" attack. If you have not read it, please go read it now. This may be on the level and no one seems to be giving it much press. The Bush administration has had nothing to say about this as well. They are aware of the embedded journalist that was allegedly contacted by al Qeada but to date that have refused to speak with him. I stand by my theory on that post. If we do not get this alleged attack on our shores then the "October Surprise" may be our preemptive attack on Iran. Before I get into what Bush had to say at the UN, in regards to Iran, I have to note that Darth Cheney was spewing out some telling, albeit insane, crap today. Cheney cast the global war on terror on Tuesday as a "war of nerves," borrowing a phrase Harry Truman used to describe the Cold War. Cheney asserted that the hopes of the civilized world depend on a U.S. victory. Bush is playing on American xenophobia and trying to sell us the same bill of goods about Iran as he did about Iraq. Will America buy it or will we stand up to them this time before we pay for it with our own blood? That is the theme of today's post.
